Recognizing volunteer service for the period of January-December 2011, please use these awards criteria to help USAG Stuttgart salute its top seven volunteers for their dedication, excellence, and commitment to our community in these Volunteer of the Year categories:

Commander’s Volunteer of the Year (Youth).  Awarded to an outstanding youth whose volunteerism impacted the quality of life in USAG Stuttgart.
 
Commander’s Volunteer of the Year (Local National).  Awarded to an outstanding Local National volunteer whose volunteerism enhanced German-American relationships and the quality of life in USAG Stuttgart.
 
Commander’s Volunteer of the Year (Civilian).  Awarded to an outstanding civilian or contractor affiliated with the command or their spouses and any other civilian not in another category who is affiliated with the command whose volunteerism impacted the quality of life in USAG Stuttgart.
 
Commander’s Volunteer of the Year (Military).  Awarded to any service member from any military branch in USAG Stuttgart whose volunteerism impacted the quality of life in USAG Stuttgart.
 
Commander’s Volunteer of the Year (Military Retiree).  Awarded to a military retiree from any branch of the military in USAG Stuttgart whose volunteerism impacted the quality of life in USAG Stuttgart.
 
Commander’s Volunteer of the Year (Military Spouse).  Awarded to a military spouse from any branch of the military in USAG Stuttgart whose volunteerism impacted the quality of life in USAG Stuttgart.
 
Commander’s Volunteer  Family of the Year   Awarded to a military Family (2 or more persons in the Family) have extraordinary volunteer  service. They can be from any branch of the military in USAG Stuttgart whose volunteerism impacted the quality of life in USAG Stuttgart.
 

Nominations accepted 27 January – 24 February 2012.  All nominees must be registered through ACS Army Volunteer Corps Coordinator.
