Also, we received the prestigious Irving Berlin Award for Programming Excellence for our 2007 USAG Stuttgart Entertainment Program. In the festival’s competition, Kelley Theatre scored big with the musical “Listen to my Heart,” a thrillingly sung collection of songs by noted tunesmith David Friedman, which grabbed the title of second place Best Show, while its cast was named third place Best Ensemble. The show was directed by Raqi Burnett (musical direction by Alan Buxkemper) and starred Ingrid Harwood, Jeanne Ragonese, Denise Woodmansee, Thomas Harke and Joerg Witzsch.
